She was so mean. I understand that he was kind of rude but there could have been any number of reasons for that, it could have just been his personality. But saying you suspected that's how all Americans were is so obscenely prejudiced. It makes me want to cry. And she was just as rude to him the entire time, without him even doing anything. She blamed him for things he obviously couldn't control and didn't even thank him for saving her brother's life. If it were me I'd bake him a pie, no matter how rude he seemed to be.
