Fortunes can be pretty creepy. It's like those annoying chain letters that all tell you that you're going to die.

I wish I knew what her cards had said. I hope we get to find out later. Was she using Tarot cards? *loves her cards*

"even her control is less than absolute" - ooh that's creepy, man. Is that a bit of foreshadowing that I sense there?

"associates" huh? That's an interesting euphemism. I may have to use that.

"a high, shrill cackle that could shatter glass" - very picturesque. For some reason that makes me think of Jesse from Team Rocket. She always had a very high, annoying laugh. XD

Her threat's pretty creepy. I'd definitely be weirded out. Is Kanako one of those weird, freaky-deaky goth girls that think that they can do levitation and stuff?

I wonder if she put a curse on her so that she would become pyschic. Hmm.

I don't really have any suggestions at this point. Maybe some more descriptions. I like to have an idea of what characters look like. However, the balance has been so nice so far that I don't know if I want anything changed.

Very suspenseful. Must . . . find . . . out . . . what . . . happens . . .

This is a great story. Man, the dialogue in this is the best I've read in a while, not to mention the plot about the Phalanx Project... I'll definitely keep an eye on this one.

This is quite an interesting read here! I really do like this so far!

Gorgeous... wow... it took me almost six sittings to read this from chapter one, and I don't regret it. i wait with baited breath for the next installation! (If there is one, aha.) But, wow. :P

Your characters are amazingly deep and faceted. No one's one dimensional; even Kanako, an antagonist, has glimmers and facets of logic that makes sense, but just doesn't agree with Toriko's and her friends'. That's very hard to achieve, but you've done it.

Also, this has got to be one of the few times I haven't wanted to gag at love triangles. (Having been involved in quite a few myself.) You make it seem so... feasible. It's wonderful. :P

Interesting story so far...

I love the dynamics, and the flow of the plot. It is not too fast, nor does it plod along. Rather it wraps you up and glides you toward an unmarked destination.

I really enjoy the characteristics of each individual you've painted, they have light and color in their own unique way. They seem almost real, and the oddities seem almost believable because of this. I'm also impressed at your ability to depict the way a female acts without it seeming phony or guessed.

I only wish this story were in print, so I could have it for my very own, no computer to restrict me from taking it EVERYWHERE...

OH MI G! Ueno park is goregeous, specially in summer! And the view from the sapporo TV tower is pretty... There is a really cool black marble structure that is a stair and a slide and you can only see the slide... it is soo cool! It is also right next to the Sapporo School of Design... Whilst i was in japan I stayed at the hostel above the Gakuen Mai station! _
