Last but not least, I managed to read this story and leave a review. ;)

This is a very strong story, and I like the emotional rollercoaster ride. The end was something of a surprise, but then, people might need a tough kick in the butt before they can understand that they must change their ways. Though, something that bothers me is that your key character Jack stays, through all of his narration except for the very end, strangly detached from his life. What gives the story the strength is the reaction of his friends, his surroundings. I'm not sure if that makes any sense.

One thing, tough... don't write anything 'in brackets', it's considered bad style.

Who has ever seen the show Babylon 5? Its a great sci-fi future space show. Well the main character's name is Jack Sheridon. I just thought you'd like to know. I've been hearing about this other singer jack for like a year and now that I know who he is I still don't care, but the story is written very well. Alot of detail and insight as to the personalities of the characters. And now curiosity has the best of me and I want to know more.
