Reviews for The World That We Cannot See
Little Junkie chapter 1 . 4/20/2006
a lot of it is repetitive, like the use of some words over and over again. and it seems to drag on. It's obvious good would win, so hurry up. And this world is kinda unoriginal.
BeautyntheBreak chapter 1 . 4/20/2006
I like the different perspective that you have in this peom although I believe your rhyming took away from the full effect this peom could've had.
Jill chapter 1 . 8/21/2004
I have seen those glowing yellow eyes...for real. I liked what you had to say about it.
There is a girl who knows.
SystemicChaos chapter 1 . 6/24/2003
Although in this case the angels were victorious, don't expect them to always win. The Gambler's Ruin applies to the spiritual as well physical.
Diana chapter 1 . 12/11/2000
*grin* The title and summery drew me right in and I'm glad it did. I cannot see a 'reference' to a spiritual world battle without being curious as to what it is referring to. Here, I was pleasantly surprised by the eloquent word picture here that represents a world fought day and night, had we only the power to see it. As further proof that people with similar interests all too often think alike, the verse Moira quoted was the exact one running through my head at the time AND if that wasn't uncanny enough, I was also thinking to myself "You know, Peretti would get SUCH a kick out of this!" LOL If you haven't picked up Peretti's "This Present Darkness", you MUST, then go right into "Piercing the Darkness". "Prophet" & the Cooper Family adventures are also riveting, although I thought "The Oath" and "The Visitation" were a little gory for my taste. But enough about Books: My eternal obsession. This review is about your incredible story and its spiritual basis. Since we cannot see the real spiritual battle, we must base our conclusions on the clues given to us, but I believe your story is very realistic and more importantly very honoring to God. I'm sure he will richly reward you someday for the testimony you have displayed here. May I leave you with this thought: We need never fear the battle around us, for God is with us!

"Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous? Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." (Josh. 1:9)

Keep up the good work, my friend.

"So do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You must persevere, so that when you have done the work of God you will receive what he has promised." (Heb. 10: 35-36)

God bless!
Moira Brennan chapter 1 . 11/18/2000
"For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." -Ephesians 6:12

Cool! I liked the descriptions! Have you ever read "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti?
Arella Ashkenazic chapter 1 . 10/28/2000
I suppose I really like this poem because I believe (if you understand what I mean). The fight's out there... I'm just waiting to join in. Great poem!

That was incredible! I really liked your plot line behind this. I'd like to know what inspired you to write it. It sounds like you are very believing, and you write from your heart. Good job!
