i dont know for sure the true timelapps as you put it, but i'm pretty sure it is 3 months. and then it is like normal-the days get longer and longer as summer aproches. then during the 3 summer months the sun never sets rises from east to west and then travels along the horizon the west to the east. i think, but am not sure, along the southern horizon. you lose track of time it could be 2 am and seem like late afternoon or atleast that's how it was when i visited in june and what people told me. sorry for being so long. hope it helped
