   Medieval-Rogue chapter 2 . 7/7/2006 Ah...very good. The chapters are long (which I love) and full. I Suspect that a certain 'acorn' color haired maid might also be..."Hazel", after all, she did say she wants to catch the eyes of nobles. Hmm...the conspirators probably think that Caireatha would enthusiastically help assassinate the ruler of the nation that invaded hers, and slaughtered her family. DAMN that Duke for knowing so much about other nations. Grr, pompous freak. The plot is yet amazing, progressing beautifully, and the characters are being revealed splendidly as well. Onto the next chapter! |
| Medieval-Rogue chapter 1 . 7/7/2006 *claps my hands excitedly* This is SUCH a good read...really, it is, I am extremely glad I found it. This is great writing in every aspect - the imagery, emotions, consistancies, dialect, plot, and the world...very, very unique and creative. The main character is strong, which is always an admirable trait in women. The Artesian Prince as well, is a good character, that leaves much room for change, and the fact that Caireatha hates him only adds more to that. And the subplot! So subtly snuck in there, in the beginning, one almost forgets that Alexander's Uncle was killed...and then the end chapter scene enlightened us more of it. Evil Duo's in the form of romantic couples always seem to be creepier. Great chapter, and when I get more time, I definitely plan on reading more of this story. BEAUTIFUL start, and I'm sure the rest of the story is too! |
