Dude, I loled. Demographic generalization/stereotypes are hilarious. Everything about this is flppin' hilarious! The poem rocked (like a dismembered...frog) loved it. The title was genius. Even your 'Before I get flamed' segment at the end was funny. Good job, I loved it.

I've been asked by many people if I were gothic because I listen to rock music and wear black. I've even been asked if I worshiped Satan because I painted my nails black. My answer to that question is a weird look then walking away.

I'm not into labels; labels are what cause steorotypes. I believe you're true to yourself then what others call you or think about you shouldn't really matter.

Lately all the goths at my school have been acting just like your poem lately. And it's pissing me off. Because when life is such a fucking wonderful thing, why do people want to waste it hating it? Sometimes there are circumstances, but things can always get better. Always.

Yeah. That has been all I ever thing about anymore. I get so fucking pissed off because all of my friends are "depressed" and constantly want to cut themselves. And they're always like "life is horrible. My life sucks. I'm gonna go to hell when I die. Which will probably be soon." Urgh yeah anyways yeah this poem is fucking HILARIOUS because it's just so true sometimes!

hahahaha! this is funny.. it sounds so gothy too... i have to clarify though, that preps making fun of goths is a serious problem.. it diminishes self esteem and makes goths seem inferior... that's why they cut themselves. it's the bullying and the reasons the preps do it, not the action itself. that's stupid though, how everyone thinks that goths are satanic... i'm CAtholic and i love it. and that they listen to manson.. manson's a poser, he doesn't know anything about bein a goth. he just feeds the little posers what they want and gives the stereotype steroids... milk and silk? and frog? nice rhymes lol... but yeah... this is good, really good.

Hi, I'm not here to flame- I'm not the flaming type. But I'm a Goth and I'm a good Christian as well. I'm also nowhere near suicidal, but I am chronically depressed. Linkin Park isn't Goth, they're Punk. I don't wear black lipstick (I am a girl, yes). Bauhaus and The Cure are both a little too tough for my tastes. 'Nuff said. K. Good poem, nonetheless.

Why, hello. I am a black-wearing person. and doncha know, I get the question 'are you goth' at least 6 times a day. Yeah. May I also say that none of this clothing came from Hot Topic and my favorite band is 'The Cure'. and now I conclude by saying that I love life and most people who aren't pointing a gun at my head.
