the Queen of Jupiter chapter 1 . 8/16/2002
It's an odd poem...I had a bit of trouble getting my mind around it.

The first stanza seems to be kind of separated from the second the speaker is separated from the world, I suppose. Then the second stanza would be the world, or maybe school, like the speaker is frustrated or perhaps bored with seemingly pointless lessons teachers force upon students, thus the speaker taunts/makes fun of school/teachers by saying "logically speaking" "triangle ABC and the cosine of 39.5", etc, etc, in the second stanza. I like that.

I also love how you used parantheses in the poem; you do that a lot in your poetry, it creates a nice effect.

Keep writing!
