|Reviews for Here In Winter Recalling Adriatic Summers|
| zelle chapter 1 . 1/9/2004
the gilded frame is no longer empty. It fills itself with the sky and a wind over Greece-overlooking the sea. You become a little clearer...no longer dim, shifting shadow. Maybe you have a soft, full-lipped smile-Italian? Dark, thick hair?
In other words: Dear lord, don't ever stop.

lovely (as i sit here watching the first real snow fall by me this winter) i am too, carried off in a tree of olive branches and doves. interesting style of writing here, yet somehow perfect, however confusing it may be. very well done. ahh... i miss summer already (curses to this northern climate!)

| Curtis J. Perry chapter 1 . 8/8/2002
Hey wow... It reminded me of noah's ark. Again, awesome imagery, I wish I could improve on that area myself :p. Can't wait for the next contest...

I loved the lines:
All the currents of warmth among the unlidded
Eye of sea rushes forward
To land columbine-white velvet birds roosting
Of olive branch
I just LOVED those lines... what imagery! You are so talented! )
