fallon chapter 37 . 9/10/2003 MAKE A SEQUEL |
Aileen chapter 37 . 9/10/2003 this was a great story except for the ending. i'd like to think that josh and jen end up together, but i cant be sure. please make a sequel! you cant just leave me hanging like this! JEN CANNOT MARRY THE RICH GUY! SHE HAS TO BE WITH JOSH! haha well keep on writing. |
miss chapter 4 . 9/6/2003 i just realized that at the bottom of chapter four after your authors note it says " RIP - Josh Ryan Evans 1982-2002" why does it say that? |
Robert Gutheim chapter 30 . 9/6/2003 Danielle this is a great story. I had started to read it one time but this is a Marathon Read. I also have read the Harry Potter Books and after reading Book 5 I wished I could send JK Rowling a Howler. If you can figure out my FFN Penname I hope you will read my fics there. |
Yamille chapter 37 . 9/6/2003 You -must- write a sequel! You cant leave it like this! -sulks- Please! -bangs head against wall- Pleasee! -puppy eyes- Come on! -gets huge sign that says 'sequel and starts pacing with it shouting 'sequel'. Hint hint? |
Ravyn Beauty again chapter 37 . 9/3/2003 Ahaha whoops ; little side note here (not that you'd be complaining XD XD XD who doesn't want an extra review to make it an even 505? CONGRATS BTW!) I noticed that whole "this would make a great movie" matter. And I kinda agree with lilprincess12186. It wouldn't. Not because the plot isn't good enough, cause believe me, it's better than good enough. I'm just saying that if a story like this is turned into a movie, it ruins the actual story. Okay, let's say I read it, watched the movie, then went back to reading it. It wouldn't be the same. I wouldn't be able to imagine my own characters and all. It would all be ruined by the movie _ ! Sorta like Harry Potter! I mean the first movie was cool but the second movie kinda sucked...Though the actors are cute hahaha ; Anywho! Getting off topic AGAIN _ |
Ravyn Beauty chapter 37 . 9/3/2003 Dear god! That was a brilliant story. Brilliant plot, brilliant charcters, brilliant chapters, brilliantly written. Everything! I say you write up that sequel. I'll admit I'm not happy with the ending. I hate sad endings! I figure you have enough sadness in real-life so why make it so in your stories as well? Please think about it! Infact, I'd be happy with an epilogue to the epilogue P As long as it's happy. I want to cry for Josh T.T and Jen (I will forever call her Jen since I'm not too fond of the name "Jennifer". No offense to any Jennifer's! Let's just say the ones I've met so far have ruined the name for me and almost-any chance of me liking a Jennifer. ; Ahehehe...Anywho! Kinda getting off topic. I absolutely [heart] this story. If I have to, I'll beg for a sequel/epilogue #2. If you plan on a sequel, I don't think anyone would care/be disappointed if it was even just 2 chapters (as long as the ending is...well you know...happy _!) Alright I'll leave it at that ; I noticed I kinda repeated myself _ ; Great work. Great plot. Great story. Keep it up .~ |
Kristin chapter 37 . 9/2/2003 I'm Back! Sorry! I lied about the review! Ok...Now...I didn't actually HATE the ending...but like a lot of other people...I wasn't expecting that and I didn't really like it. Although it was sorta realistic...although sorta not...I think that it would've been just better with a happily ever after ending. That's because it was how it went during the whole length of the story...AND...the title made it seem it was going to end that way. And then...BAM! WOW! I really wasn't prepared for that. But for my opinion about the sequel...I think you're maybe gonna HAVE to write one...because so many people want MORE closure and didn't like the ending you wrote. I'm all for the sequel...MAKE THEM GET TOGETHER! Hehe...that's probably what everyone else wants to happen. But anyway...I've gotten very attacted to this story and all the characters like they're real...and it makes me sad to have to let them go in an ending like the one you just wrote. KEEP IN MIND...I NEVER EVER said the ending was bad...it was...bittersweet...but I (probably lots of other people) would've like the story just that much better if the ending was just all together sweet...no bitter! LOL! We should start talking on AIM again...LuViNaLiTTLeDoRk if you forgot! IM me soon! ~*Kristin*~ |
Midnights Sorrow chapter 37 . 9/1/2003 That was a beautiful ending. Your words had so much power and meaning. Your story had so many emotions rolling off of it. I love this story and a ter fell down at the end. I really think you should make a Sequel. It would be really wonderful! |
Lyona chapter 37 . 9/1/2003 Let me preface my review with the comment that I really like your story, and congratulations with the number of reviews. Well done. However, personally, I didn't like the ending. I thought that the ending didn't fit with the story you had developed. It left me with a bare bones sense of closure and very little sense that Jen had learned anything during her relationship with Josh especially because she let it end in such a way. If I'm wrong, so be it, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, you have a story ripe for a sequel. Good luck! |
the-black-kitty chapter 37 . 8/31/2003 I guess I'll start this review off with a congratulations. Yay for 500 reviews! I think this might be review #500, either that or somebody already reviewed but it's taking a while to get on the site, but either way congrats! I was reading all the other reviews for the epilogue and I disagree with lots of them. As much as I wanted Jen and Josh to be together in the end (I promise I did!) I like this ending too. It's more realistic. Everybody expects story to end with happily ever after, but that's not the way real life is. I like the whole rose thing, it was touching; I also liked how you showed the change in Jen by comparing her feelings when she's leaving to her feelings when she came. I really liked this story, even though it had a sad ending. About a sequel...a sequel would be cool. I personally think if you write one it should be like five years after this one ended instead of immediately picking up where you left off. Or if you don't want to write a sequel but can't say good-bye to the characters you could just write some side stories like maybe featuring Anna or Christy or Will. Or some stories that take place in the past, about Jen's childhood or something. Whatever you choose to do, I'd love to read more of your writings. I'm so glad you decided to post this on ! Whoa...that's really weird. I just went to look at the prolouge and found this "My mother's parents had selected a guy for her to marry, but she disobeyed them and married my father. She always told me that love was the most important thing in the world." Just thought that was an interesting thing to read after reading the epilogue. Anways, like I said before, great story. And I still think it could be a movie! |
inconsequential me chapter 37 . 8/30/2003 Ah! I think i'm reviewer 499, and it'd definitely be great if you reached 500...and it seems obvoius that you will, so kudos. that's an amazing feat, and you enjoy all the praise... This story was amazing. I loved all of it... You kept things believable... which is hard to do. You had a nice mesh of everything (love, death, depression, happiness, etc.). which is relaly hard to do... and it's a very well written story...highly enjoyable, so i hope you're very proud of it, as you should be. so the ending...was...terribly depressing. However, it was a very good ending...It just wasn't great. And it won't be great until Jen ends up with Josh... Heh. You developed such a solid relationship between the two... it was so disappointing to watch Jen try to make her mom happy even when it meant sacrificing her own happiness... It shows what a strong writer you are! i doubt i could finish off a story that sad...heh. Well...Kudos. Highly impressive, insanely enjoyable...It's wonderful. One more thing: sequel, sequel, sequel...please? |
GlueStik chapter 37 . 8/27/2003 There so had better be a sequel to this. I love th is story to death, and you just can not end it like this. I'll be so disapointed. Please say you didn't do this to me. Jamie |
jory chapter 37 . 8/24/2003 SEQUEL!...i loved this..u gotta give us more. specially with an ending like that one |
snow blossoms chapter 37 . 8/23/2003 Wow. That was very reality-sorta-based. No happy-ending and all. Although this is not the typical fanfic, where happily-ever-afters are the norm and many a fantasy included, this was more like a book about someone in an extraordinary situation in reality. And, I must say, it is quite refreshing. This was quite a lovely story and I am really looking forward to your next fanfic. Have a wonderful day. ~snow blossoms~ |
