OMGe! I really enjoyed that. It's refreshing to hear the other side: what might have happened, or what did happen, but what nobody told anyone about.

I have only had a quick flick through this story and from what I have seen it is one of the better versions of this fic (and let me tell you, there are many). Very mature writing and from what I see of Hades he is very mysterious.

One word of advice would be is to make you're first chapter into the second chapter. Right now the reader feels plonked into the action. ease them into it by introducing Persepehone before her abduction.

Wow... I'm impressed by the beauty of your writing. You have a mature style of writing which few FP writers possess and the formality of your style fits this story and its setting extremely well. I like the fact that you didn't focus too much on the romance aspect such that this became a 'high-school' romance fic. You've managed to make this story so solemn yet not dry. I really think you have a flair for writing.

absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed your take on Hades in this. So many writers (myself included, unfortunately) write hades as being almost mortal in his emotions, selfish in a way. You have written him in a way that I never before imagined him to be... but from now on, I doubt I can think of the God of the Dead in any other way, than the way you have written him here.

That was lovely...and surprising sweet. I was also reminded of Beauty and the Beast, but I *liked* this, unlike B&B. I think I would have preferred it with more natural-sounding dialogue, but my issues with formal writing are entirely my own, and it *is* the standard with gods and all. Ah, well-nice retelling, and a portrayal of Hades I've never seen before.

This was a wonderful story...and very enlightening too! I had never thought of Hades as actually being dead...and the way you portrayed him as being somewhat mysterious and distant was perfect!

Oh! And I love what he 'demands' of her every night... It reminds me of the Beauty & The Beast story...blah, I can't remember what it's called now, but hopefully you know which one I'm talking about.
