|Reviews for On My Own|
| Lounalune chapter 1 . 4/11/2003
Your poem is so real, it's amazing. It reminds me of myself ten years ago (yes, I remember my feelings when I was 5). Always living in dreams, in the stories I invented... U know that "On My Own" is the title of a song from the musical "Les Miserables"(actually, my favorite song of the musical). There is the same theme, living in a dream to escape reality, but it's treated really differently in a different context.

| SweetGrape chapter 1 . 9/16/2002
Interesting- someone anxiously self-dependent, rejecting outside influences.
Like they've been hurt before- they question new things "What can you probably give me" and are very pessimistic "Except heartach and pain?"
The last half is a bit of an explanation, almost an apology or regret.
The last line is a bit confusing- the person seems stuck in their won mind- so dreams are more real than actual life.
