AN: This is the last poem, and probably the one that holds the most significance to me.

"Those Chains Which Bind Us"

Can't you see we're bound together.

No matter how hard we try to pull,

These chains just won't give way.

We're stuck whether we like it or not.

And frankly, I want to get away.

As much as I care about you,

Sometimes enough is enough.

You have to learn when things get tough,

I'll just go back to the way that I was.

I never meant to hurt you.

It's ironic how things can turn out.

I was the one who dreaded this thought,

Of ever getting close to someone.

But yet here I am, becoming what I despise.

Tell me, have I now betrayed your trust?

You know my habits and my way of life,

The way I try to hide things that I feel.

Can you ever forgive me for this crime,

For feeling the urge to run away from you?

Don't let me do it 'cause you're my light in the darkness.

AN: *shakes finger at readers* Bad, bad reviewers….you thought I was writing romance didn't ya? Sorry, try again next time. Anyways….please review. Flames are welcome.
