The Boy I Can't Forget

By Goth-girl

A day goes by in the life of a friend

Torn between reality and fantasy

She watches the boy she loves, till the very end

Why must all end in tragedy?

She thinks of him every day

But he doesn't know her

But he takes her cares away

Why must everything she sees stir

A memory

Of a different life

He would love her too, but that's a different story

The girl must face, she may never be a wife

After all the years of wishing

Still no answer

Is the world even listening?

Will anyone ever love her?

While he flirts with another

She walks by like she doesn't care

But she can love no other

Her life just isn't fair
