~ Sydney's POV ~
"Sydney!!! Get up now!" My twin brother Scott screamed at me from my doorway.
"What do you want Scott?" I replied as I rolled over to go back to sleep.
"It's not what I want, it's what mom wants. Besides I'm being recruited too."
I opened an eye and squinted at him. "To do what?"
"Mom put us on driving patrol, she doesn't feel well. Davy needs to go to his baseball game and Jessie has ballet."
"All right. Give me a few minutes and I'll be down." I watched as Scott shut the door and left. I groaned into my pillow before forcing myself to get out of bed. It was times like this I wish I had an older brother or sister to do the driving instead of me. Oh well. I threw on my clothes from the day before and stumbled down the stairs into the kitchen.
Davy and Jessie were both ready for their activities.
"Syd, I want you to drive me because Scott makes faces when he has to stay and watch," Jessie informed me looking too serious for a 12 year old.
"All right. Go get your things and we'll leave." Jessie got up and ran into the other room. "Hey Davy, I'm sure that you will be great in your game today. Hit me a home run okay".
"You got it Syd." He smiled at me. He was still missing his two front teeth.
"Dave! Let's go," Scott bellowed from the other room.
Within minutes all of us were off to our destinations. I could already tell it was going to be a long day.
