The Desert

naked desolate,
desolate constant landscape,
landscape void of life,
bursting bloom.

near eternal dry,
presently sensing source,
eager expectant,
explosion.

verdant vivacious,
succulent flowering birth,
efflorescent green,
will die after.

seeps and drains away,
others desiring life's blood,
am lacking craving needing,
death is near.
