Voice Of Heaven

The hollow echo of music
A melody from the sweetest of throats
It sends shivers down your spine
As you hear it
As you feel it
Resounding sweetly through the dark
Black velvet curtains rise and you see a light
A soft blue light surrounding a ghostly figure
A figure that reflects the beauty of the stars
Who's voice could only come from the deep recesses of Heaven
There are no words just beautiful notes playing along the scale
First strong and resonant then soft and full of breath
Silver glitter falls through the air
Sparkling brightly in the soft blue of the shaded light
Falling over the figure like the thinnest, most delicate of mantels
Long, dark, silky curls cascade around her shoulders
As bits of glitter alight on her gleaming hair
She stops an the last note slowly echoes away into the silence
Large dark eyes, filled with tears look out
Steadily staring directly into your soul and yours alone
The softest rose petal lips, the color of deepest scarlet
Part ever-so-slightly as her chest takes in a deep breath
She lifts her delicate face to the sky as her sweet voice fills the air again
And the lights fade
And the glitter flows
As the certain of darkness falls
With the last fading, flowing, echoing
