Can You See the Soul inside?
For many,
You see them,
But do you really?
Are you blind?
Or am I?
I look at them,
And see,
The eyes tell it all,
Faces are the masks,
The eyes,
Are the heart.
All I want,
Is happiness.
Love, kindness, smiles,
For I am as you are,
In a different way.
For I am those people with the stone masks,
I do not know what happiness,
Of a friend is,
I do not know,
The love of a family,
All unknown places.
My eyes,
Once glowing,
Are dim.
My heart,
Once full of loved,
Still does loves,
For I see the soul, inside,
Do you see the soul inside?
Or are you blind to?
For many,
You see them,
But do you really?
Are you blind?
Or am I?
I look at them,
And see,
The eyes tell it all,
Faces are the masks,
The eyes,
Are the heart.
All I want,
Is happiness.
Love, kindness, smiles,
For I am as you are,
In a different way.
For I am those people with the stone masks,
I do not know what happiness,

I do not know,

My eyes,

My heart,

Do you see the soul inside?
Or are you blind to?
