XV.

Though night o'er the Sun God was thrown,

His rays upon the earth still shone

And after some odd moments we

Stepped from our shelter cautiously

To stand again in pure gold light,

Safe, for the Sun God's lacked his sight.

Our laughter mingled with my tears

And in Forever's many years

You stood devoutly by my side

Immovable by nymph or pride,

And we together lived our days

In all of Happiness's ways.

But still and always, every night

We watched the fireflies take flight,

For t'was because of their soft shove

That we had learned to rise above

            With Love.

My eternal thanks goes out to the following fantastic authors for their support: Arabelle, Not Sure Yet, Princess Mulan, RWP, The Black Rider, and all others who took a moment to comment. You've brightened many a dreary day. Hope you enjoyed it! =)
