INT. TELEVISION STUDIO, DAY.

CAMERAS ROLL. STUDIO AUDIENCE CLAPS. CHARLES GREETLY WALKS ONTO THE STAGE. HE BOWS BEFORE THE AUDIENCE.

CHARLES:Welcome to Twice Weekly with Charles Greetly. Today's guest, Natalie Wright, famed American journalist.

NATALIE WRIGHT WALKS ON STAGE. BOWS BEFORE CLAPPING AUDIENCE. SHE SITS DOWN IN A CHAIR NEXT TO CHARLES.

CHARLES:Welcome, Natalie.

NATALIE:Thank you.

CHARLES:So, what's new across the pond?

NATALIE:There's a lot of buzz about a new American politician, Barrack Obama.

CHARLES:The black guy?

NATALIE:(HARSHLY) Charles!

CHARLES:What? He's black, isn't he?

NATALIE:He's so much more than that. He's half-white.

CHARLES:Like a zebra.

NATALIE:He's also got all the right views. I think he might win in '08.

CHARLES:Like a zebra.

NATALIE:Charles.

CHARLES:What? You let a monkey win in 2000. (TO AUDIENCE) Don't laugh at that! If you that type of humour then go see Jim Davidson. We don't do cheap Bush jokes here! So, Natalie, you think Obama has a chance of filling your ballot box in '08?

NATALIE:Yes. Oh God, yes.

CHARLES:Well, what are his views? What does he think of global warming?

NATALIE:He's against it.

CHARLES:What does he think of the economy?

NATALIE:He's for it.

CHARLES:What does he think of Iraq?

NATALIE:He's against being for it.

CHARLES:Isn't he a bit too young to be President?

NATALIE:That's the beauty of it. He's so young he's actually old.

CHARLES:What?

NATALIE:Think about it. He couldn't have liked a normal life to get where he is. He started school a year early to get a head-start, finished high school at 14, college at 18, and got married at 7. So, really, he's, like, 56, in Obama years.

CHARLES:How old am I in Obama years?

NATALIE:4.

CHARLES:So, you really think Obama has a chance to win?

NATALIE:All he has to do is convince the ordinary, blue-collar, hard-working average American living in the heartland that he truly, absolutely, and without question, hesitation, or resistance, hates gays.

CHARLES:He's a city liberal, won't that be hard?

NATALIE:People said the same thing about Hilary Clinton, but who now doesn't think she's really a man?
