Chapter 5

By Crystal

Author's Notes: No spoiler for 'Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King'

*Screw the disclaimers ^^;;*

"Hey Angela, I have to go, Josh's here."  I said to the phone.

"Heh, so you're finally getting along with him...  I remember how nice you were to him at first when we met at the mall...  Ah, I recall a few sentences you said too...  Something along the lines of, 'Fuck off, Josh'."

Pfft.  "Shut up, Angela.  Anyways, I really have to go, I'll phone you the minute I get home tonight!"  I heard her mumble an okay and I hanged up immediately then rushed to the door to open it.

Two weeks ago, I was still the depressing brat that would cuss at everything that annoyed me.  Who knew in a short period of two weeks, I would be completely different?  Ah, life was full of surprises.

"Heya, Josh!"  I greeted when he came in.

"Hey, Rory.  How are you doing?"

I smiled at him, "Great!  Where are we going today?"  I asked, excited.

He grinned, "You'll have to see."

He drove the both of us to the mall where we had first met, "Movie?"  I asked quietly, he nodded, all the while grinning.  I frowned a little, wanting to know exactly what was going on in that mind of his...  But trying to understand a moron was impossible.  I chuckled inwardly at that.

Josh seemed to have saw my amused face, for the next second, he asked me, "What's wrong?"

I grinned, "Nothing, Josh.  Absolutely nothing."

"Sure..."  He said unbelieving.

I shrugged, "Well, it's your fault for not telling me where we are going and what movie we're going to watch..."

He grinned childishly at that.  "Absolutely nothing can get me to tell you what we're watching today."

I shrugged, I doubted that it would be a movie I'm really looking forward to, unless it was 'Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King', but that was impossible...  All the seats were definitely sold, even after it has come out for two weeks.  People were watching it over and over again...

We ate at the fast food, Burger King, if you must know.  Well anyways, we ate there while chatting comfortably about how we met over the internet and how ironic it was to meet again after five years, and finally dating.  Basically, we talked about everything from aliens to computers.  Well, okay, that was an exaggeration.

Anyways, with some abnormal luck, we managed to meet Henry and Rob, who I was still keeping in touch with once in a while.  We talked over the internet every few days, sometimes even months.  Of course, they didn't know who I was, I had to laugh at that and I saw Josh grinning madly.

"Hey Josh...  Who's this?"

Josh grinned madly again, "Hm, this is Aurora...  This is Rob and Henry."  He pointed at the two of them, one by one.

I bit my lips, trying to keep myself from laughing, thank God I was good at stopping my laughing.  "Aurora...  Sounds like a certain somebody's name you know, Josh."  Rob said, raising his eyebrow.

"Josh...  You have a girlfriend behind my back?!"  I said in mock anger.  I must have been a very good actor, because the both of them looked at Josh sympathetically immediately, which caused Josh to cough.  Not really coughing, just to cover up his laugh.

"Rob...  I have no idea what you're talking about."  Josh said, in the most serious voice possible.  "Anyways, we have to get going!  Later!"  He dragged me away, but just after I could say a proper goodbye.

When we were far away from them, the both of us started cracking up.  "That...  was priceless."  I said between gasps.

"Hell yeah."  He grinned.  "Anyways, movie's starting in twenty minutes, we should go now."  I nodded and once again got dragged away by him.  I didn't even get to know what movie we were watching because he dragged me into the theatre and made me sit down until the movie started.  We chatted quietly while I heard an old man yell at two teenagers about kicking the seats.  Seriously, old man these days...  They were thirteen year old kids!  Geez.

I turned back to the screen and almost squealed at the sight.  Josh had gotten tickets to 'Lord of the Rings'.  I turned to look at him, practically glowing with happiness and gave him a kiss on the cheek.  He grinned, "You like it?"

I nodded, and took hold of his hand, squeezing it gently.  My whole attention was now focussed on Josh's hand...  And the movie...  Okay, the movie was a lie.  The only thing, or person in the movie my eyes were fixed on were on Legolas Greenleaf.  Hey, you can admit, Orlando Bloom is damn hot.

Author's Notes: Yes, yes, Orlando Bloom is frigging hot and if I'm wrong, then you can kill me.  Orlando seems even hotter in the movie as Legolas when he has blond hair, lol.

sakurantokyo – I don't think it'll be the end soon ^^  A happy ending's nice sometimes...  But I don't know if this is going to be a happy ending.  I don't even know how this is going to end =p  But I'll warn you all when it is the ending.

Chen - *grins*  Like I said before...  A lot of this did happen...  Yet, a lot did not.  See you tomorrow, Chen!  And your asking me of this story reminded me I still had this story to write about...  I forgot about this story, I have too many stories working at once, lol!

salzstar – Yeah, I can definitely relate to it...  well, it is my story (kinda) after all.  There are lots of things I can write about, that I agree with.  Lol, seeing his face would be sweet *grins*.  Clichés are fun to write too. =p See ya!

axania chic – Agreed of course.
