Together, By D. Wisdom

A poem about me an' me siblings, right about the time they left. That's all I can say…

*(*)*(*)*

Hop in the car, and drive and drive and drive. Hop out of the car, and walk and sit and talk.

The place and time isn't important, it is the driving and walking and talking that matters.

It's all about being together.

Hop in the car and drive, hop out and sit in the sand at the ocean's front.

Stare at the blue of the sea, time has no significance.

It's all about being together.

Hop in the car and drive, hop out and play in the grass in the fields out back.

Sing songs of happiness and sorrow, and time still has no significance.

Ten years fly past, and hop in the car and drive. Two weeks turn into a day.

Time has no significance.

It's all about being together.

No grown ups.

No work.

No school.

Just the seven of us, and that's all we have left.

It's all about us, nobody else.

It's all about being together.
