Everybody Needs

Everybody needs to say what they feel

If they don't it will build up inside

It will build to the point of explosion

If they have no one in which they can confide

If they are told to shut up

Or to close their mouth

If they are told they don't matter

Or that their word is in doubt

If all this happens then they will lose themselves

In the current of anger and insecurities

They are like a wall, made of bricks

Pull the wrong one out and it all collapses

Nobody wants to feel this way

The way that they feel when things go wrong

Nobody needs to feel the same

They same way they do when life seems too long

Should life always seem too long?

When they are stretched as far as they'll go

They will clutch their head, they can't hold on

To them it always seems so

People have to feel important to live

For attention they constantly strive

They can't stand to not be in the light

But they can't take that final dive

People need to let go of things that happen

They have no control over what goes on

Why dwell on the past if you can't change it?

That's simple, because the pain is not gone

There will always be pain

There will always be strife

People don't learn

They must go on with their life

Don't dwell on what happens

Say what you feel

Don't be controlled

And you'll live life for real
