Solitude

A gentle breeze blows through your hair,

as your standing there alone up on the rooftop,

looking out at the city before you,

it's wide and vast and endless

the skyscrapers reaching up above us towards the clouds,

even standing up here we're still so small.

Nature

Queen of the Green Grass

Mother to all trees

she's all around

why can't you see?

She's running through the night,

on a distant breeze,

blazing with the sun across

a vast and endless desert.

Diana

The Moon, she dances, and watches her children play.

Nymphs and Dryads circle about,

Diana with her Silver Bow hunts through the trees guided by the gentle night breeze,

Goddess of the Hunt

she spots her prey,

drawing her bow, and arrow rings true.

Stranded

Captured in a distant wind,

carried far and not near,

a different land,

a strange land,

stranded alone.

Walking down a winding road, trying to find your way;

Keep on going, you're feet will carry you home.

Reflection

Looking up at the bright blue sky

The fluffy white clouds go rolling by.

I lay on my back in the cool green grass,

and let the warm sun shine down upon me.

I feel calm, and peaceful. Safe. Content.

Just to lie here and dream.
