Hey guys! I must admit, I almost quit the story, but then I realized that I might be able to make this a fairly decent story. Hmmm, let me see... This could be fun *evil synister laughter*

Fear was the only emotion present in Neko's dark eyes.

"Oh, I love this stage. You're soo scared aren't you."

"N..no."

"Oh my goodness, you're stuttering and you tell me your not scared." He laughed. His face was so close to her she could feel his warm breath on her neck. He gently carresed her face and neck, seemingly intoxicated by her fears. Then, her did something that cought Neko totally by surprise, he bit her.

She whimpered, but then noticed that it wasn't as bad as she'd expected. Actually she kind of liked it. Listlessness, followed by a slight tickling sensation. No, wait...

"OOOOOOWWWWIIIIEEEE!!!!!" Pain seared through her body. What had she been thinking, she must fight back.

"What the hell did you do you bitch?!"

"Wha? I didn't do anything. You were the one who bit me!" She was fighting back tears, her words came out a bit slurred.

"Yeah, and I've done it many other times and THAT has never happened! What the hell are you crying for? You're alive...for now at least."

"I know, but.."

"But?"

"Nothing." She turned her head, she couldn't bring herself to look at him.

"Nothing my ass! What are you crying for? Tell me now or I loose my patience!"

"You haven't lost your patience?"

"Not yet." He was struggling not to yell anymore, the last thing he needed to do was upset her more.

"I'm scared."

"Of what?" Yeah, he was going to loose his patience with her.

"Y..y.. you"

"WHAT!?! Oh, wait, never mind you have good reason to."

"Well I knew that." She was starting to get her old fire back. He was undiong the binding that held her down. "Ok, now what are you going to do? Put me in a cage or something."

"Only if you want me to." He gave her a look that was filled with mischeif.

"Oh my gosh! That's soo not what I ment!" She laughed.

"Hey, what do you expect from a guy that just tried to eat you?" He had done it again. He was soo good at making people forget where they were and make them feel at home. He was going to lead her to Sir and he'd decide what to do with her.

As they approached two huge wooden doors, they swung themselves open. A chair, a rug, and a small, lit, fireplace were the only things in the room. A servant turned the chair around, revealing a wrinkly old man who looked like he'd died ten times over, and then been revived nine too many times.

"What is this?" The voice seemed too strong for the body it belonged too. It was deep and demanding.

"Well, she kinda, evaded death."

"Now how did that happed?" He sounded amused.

"I don't really know Sir."

"A little girl evaded you? You should be ashamed."

"Yes, Sir." Darren hung his head.

Neko had seemingly faded into the background. She didn't mind. The man Darren called Sir scared he more than Darren did.

"You, girl. What's your name?"

"Neko, uh, Sir." She replied sheepishly.

"What kind of a name is that? What's wrong with the world today? People naming thier kids Neko. Oh, well. Wait. Neko. What does that mean? It sounds oddly familliar."

"I wouldn't know." He was going to diss her name and then ask her what it ment? Yeah, what was wrong with the world today?

"Fine. It dosen't matter anyways. Come with me." He ordered. "Darren you too." He added.

Neko was extremely surprised that Sir could get up and walk. She watched him carefully, she wanted to make sure he didn't fall on her or anything. The corridor was a narrow one, once again with the torches lining the walls. Massive pictures adorned the ceiling, yes the ceiling. They looked as if they were about to fall. OK, this place was really creepy, to put it very mildly.

A door opened. By itself. Or so it seemed, but as we all know, apperances can be deceiving. It was dark and dank. The someone flipped on a light switch and practically blinded everbody.

"My goodness, I didn't even know you had electricity in this place" Neko squinted against the light. "Oh my goodness!" Then she fainted.

Sorry I couldn't come up with a better ending for it. I wonder why she fainted. I honestly have no idea. lol. That mystery will reveal itself in the next chappie, I suppose. Untill next time!

Goddess of Darkness. Have a great day! ^_^
