        Wilting willows, by tori multon

Wilting willows

weeping to the water

wounds wreacking open.

wooshing into wan light,

towards the womb of the earth.

they dont want

windows nearby

washed with darkness

thick, wet blackness

no light working in

through wee winks of knotholes

Time is whiling past

inside the box

outside the world works on

woman wonders at the wall

walks on.

bending down

Soon that wan light

will waft down into none.

Black weeping,

Into the whorls of light.
