Lonely Am I

Author's Note When you read this poem, don't think that I am some kind of depressed freak.

While people in town,

Dance happy and gay,

I watch red footsteps,

Fade slowly away.

No one can tell,

I sit here in sorrow,

Dreadfully wondering,

If I should see tomorrow.

Lonely, I sit here,

On the Steps of Forever,

The shadows surround me,

With me, always together.
