A/N:I wrote this in school (for a grade no less!). I liked it so much I
decided to post it here.
The White Fox
By: Silver Ice
A long time ago, there was a fox named Yuki. Yuki was a pure white color, hence the name Yuki. White foxes were a sign of good luck, so everyone who saw her tried to capture her. But she was too stealthy and cunning, and always escaped.
One day she was walking around the edge of a village, when she happened upon a dog, who was supposed to guard the livestock. He was a huge, black Labrador with a gray spot on his face, which always slept. His name was Kuro.
Yuki crept past the sleeping dog, whispering, "You should not sleep so much." She gobbled down his food, and then ran home.
The next day, she came back. Kuro was awake and watching, infuriated someone ate his food. When he spied her, he called out, "Were you the one who stole my dinner?"
Yuki smiled slyly, "No, but I know who did. Why don't you sleep? I will watch and make sure he doesn't try again."
After he had fallen asleep, she helped herself to his food again, and then left for home.
Moral: Don't rely on others to do things for you, for it will get you nowhere.
Alright, whadda think? Should I write another, or stop? Pleeeaaaaaase review
Almost forgot; translations
