The Last Purpose:
Someone once forgot that
On this earth, the time would come,
Apocalypse begins at last,
Angels descend the sun.
As tremors knock the world,
As lightning shocks our buildings in,
Great folds of darkness scar the earth,
Angels come to transcend sin.
People scream and die apart,
And those that don't for judgement cry.
The wingéd beings still their hearts,
Steal their souls away and fly.
But one who landed flew apart.
About a boy, flexed wings he curled.
'Never be afraid,' he said.
'I've come to save the world.'
And Hero's holding up the mountain,
But still he's chasing death away.
He's found it hard to stop
And getting harder with each day.
He cried for the starving child,
Could not bear to watch him die,
'How can I save your earth,'
He whispered, 'If I cannot save your life?'
For you cannot form a treaty,
With the devils raging lust.
The world will shake itself to pieces
And then crumble into dust.
But finally, his mind was broke,
He let the child go.
Ash-thicken air, it swirled to choke.
No one was left to know.
Alone he watched the final end,
Crying ruby, his wings unfurled.
'I never knew it was so hard,'
He said, 'To save your dying world.'
Silver blood, Hero cut his wings,
Rent fissures open with his will.
Thought on life and other things,
'Till earth had made its final kill.
