A/N: Hey guys! This is my new story! Please R/R!

Summary: Jake Reed was perfect. He had the perfect smile, the looks, and the personality. Farah didn't know how she was lucky enough to have him as her BF. But, as she finds out, Jake isn't what he seems…..

I stared at my boyfriend. He was perfect. How could I have been lucky enough to get him, all to myself? I smiled, a silent smile to myself.

"Hey babe." He grinned as he saw me coming. I ran up to him and hugged him. He smelled of cinnamon. I found the smell quite strange on him but shrugged it off.

"Hey Jake. What do you want to do?" It was the end of the school day, and I had off from work. I was thrilled that Jake and I had the whole afternoon to spend with each other.

"Beach." He said it more like a statement than a question, but I quickly agreed.

The waves were perfect. I quickly got into my bathing suit and went to join Jake on the beach towel. He looked at my bathing suit with a look I couldn't read.

"Hey hun, how come you never wear a two piece?" He asked. I found this question quite odd, but I replied,

"I suppose…I don't own any." I said. It was the truth. I just didn't wear bikinis that often.

"We'll have to get you some." He said with certainty. I looked at him, perplexed. He was acting awfully strange. Once again, I shrugged it off. He was too perfect to get mad at. Jake put his arm around my waist and we laid in the sun.

We'd been at the beach for about an hour. When I realized the time, I thought I should be getting home.

"I should get home. My mother might get worried if I stay out much longer." I said, getting up to get my clothes. Jake didn't let go of me. I wiggled a little, to show that I wanted to get up. I didn't know if he was sleeping, since he was very still and had sunglasses on.

"Jake." I said, a little louder. I felt his hand tighten around my waist. "Stop it." I demanded. This wasn't like him. I muscled up all my strength and broke free of his arm. He sat up and looked at me.

"Sorry babe, did you say something? I was dead asleep." He said, giving me his hypnotizing grin.

"Nothing Jake. I just have to get home." I said. I was glad he was sleeping. I didn't think he would actually hold me down like that. He was perfect, my Jake. He pulled me close to him and I felt my lips pressed against his. I felt his tongue in my mouth and I so yearned to stay and do this, but I knew it would be going to fast. After all, we had only been dating for 3 weeks. As hard as it was for me, I broke away from the kiss.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled. He nodded, and watched me as I walked away, toward my house. I lived very close to the beach, so it didn't take me long to get home.

When I walked into my house, my brother, Simon was sitting on the couch, reading a textbook or something.

"Where have you been?" He asked, looking up at me.

"Why?" I asked. Simon was always trying to butt into my life.

"Well, I was wondering, since you have a big smile on your face and your lipstick is smudged." He retorted, giving me a concerned look. Simon was 18, two years older than me.

"I was at the beach." I replied, telling him half of the truth.

"With who?" He asked, not convinced.

"Now what makes you think-" He cut me off.

"Be careful, you can get hurt." Simon said, in all seriousness. I rolled my eyes. I had never seen Simon act serious, so I knew he must be up to something.

"Whatever." I said, and went to my room.
