Playing Games

A/N: Once again I own it all and nothing at all can stop me muahhh!!! Okay did you know if you were to publish a work from here technically you don't own it any more. That made me mad. They're still your words. Anyhow on to writing! I got an email request to write another love story!

"So Alec which girl is it this week?"

"Susan" Alec said relaxed "she came back even though she knows."

"Well you are the king," his best friend said laughing. "I have a girl in my eyes."

"Really who?"

"Crystals her name she hasn't dated in years."

"Want me to get her into the game for you?"

"Even you couldn't pursued her."

"Oh come on give it a chance it'll work!"

Alec stopped the car in front of his friend's work. "Would you like to show me this dashing woman." Alec was led up the elevator and into the news casting room.

"There she is" his friend whispered.

Alec moved toward her. "Your Crystal aren't you?" Crystal looked to the speaker and found one of the most handsome men she had ever laid eyes on.

"Yes I am how did you know?"

"My friend works here. He's told me about you but his words have fallen quite short. By the way my name is Alec."

"You're quite the charmer aren't you.

Good progress she's flirting. "Would you except my offer of dinner and a drink."

Smiling back into his grin she couldn't refuse. "How could I not."

"Good I'll meet you a Louis bar Saturday at 9:00."

"Sound good" Crystal answered. Than as she walked away she realized what she had done she had broken her number one rule, no dating. Oh well, one won't hurt him.

Saturday night came and she found herself nervous about what to wear. She finally decided on her black sleeveless dress. Over it went her leather jacket. She pulled up to the bar at exactly 9:00.

"My you are prompt aren't you!" She looked into Alec's smiling face.

"When something pops up no" she wanted to slap herself. What the hell was that when something pops up.

"Well than would you prefer to dance or eat?"

Okay lying again. He'll never know I'm safe. "I'm not that great of a dancer."

"Than come on I'll teach you." What the hell have I gotten my self into now. He led her out to the floor.

"Now face your back to me. I'll direct you. It would be easier." His hands were on her hips and she knew what dance she was being led in, grinding. She had done it before, plenty of times and she proved it by making him no longer able to guide. "It's not that bad is it" he whispered into her ear.

She knew he was trying to seduce her so she stopped it before she could no longer control herself. "Yeah but it sure makes you hungry." He watched her walk away and he knew he had moved way to fast.

"I'm sorry" he told her honestly.

"No problem" she added. It was however a problem. She was falling for him and as if that wasn't bad enough the man she loved was off doing some crime and she was here. Something hidden behind her eyes would let all know that she held secrets for only a special few too hear. Some that even involved this Alec guy.

Dinner was quiet and they danced some more. More like an awkward silence the whole time until the goodbye although both enjoyed the dancing. In her car she knew she was safe to vent so she called her friend to vent. "I just went out with one of my targets."
