My friend Sam gave me the idea.literally, I was walking her to English and
asked her what I should write about during math because it was (and still
is) incredibly boring and she said Bloody Handprints of Styrofoam Walls
(though at first I thought she said "bloody handprints on plastic
stars"...which was confusing) But as I tried so hard to come up with a way
to start it that day, I realized that I couldn't. So that only made me try
harder because poetry normally comes so easily to me, but this one didn't.
About a week or so later I finally managed to come up with a rough idea of
what I wanted. This is actually my second version of "BHoSW", I'll post my
first version later. It's not quite done because I'm still not completely
satisfied with it, so give me some feedback and let me know what you think.

·!¦[· Bloody Handprints on Styrofoam Walls (vs.2) ·]¦!·
Fragments of glass glimmer on the floor
Shattered, like your heart, in just one movement
Bitter hope, obscuring your reality
There is silence now, peaceful and rare
But it won't last
Soon it will be gone
Drowned out by bitter words and broken porcelain
Dead inside, vengeance gives you nothing
Love stole everything, left you lost and alone
It was never yours to have
Fall back against the wall, slipping off the surface
Red, staining the white surface
Streaked with crimson, clashing together
Once pure and blissful
Now tainted and angry
Your spiteful words, ripping through tender flesh
Blood and tears mingle,
Like rivers,
Flowing off your rigid stance and pooling at your feet.
Crawl away from the pain, knowing it will never end
Yesterday is a never was,
Tomorrow, a never will be.
And all that's left of today,
Are the Bloody Handprints of Styrofoam Walls.
