Black light shines through the stained glass windows
The chants of the prayers soon fall into silence
The priest starts to preach; The black rain starts to fall
Tears and sobs from women and children can be heard
I see outside; Pitch black; Suddenly all goes silent
Seeing him as I step outside takes my breath away
Raven hair; Blood eyes; The natural pallor of his skin
The wings on his back are beautiful
Leathery masses of wings, coming to the point with a claw
He extends a hand with slender fingers and I take it
It is as cold as the worst winter blizzard but I love it
Rain soaks my hair; I shiver yet am not cold at all
I welcome the Dark Prince to this world he is destined to rule
