Just before summer
Students go insane
With all the projects, homework, and finals
The teachers are to blame
Why do they assign us
So much homework right at the end
Tight now I'm so stressed my brain has exploded
Not able to mend
Noses are in books
Pencils ready to write
There's not a laid back person
In sight
All students memorize
To and fro
Are calculus, chem. History,
Stuff we really don't need or want to know
These bits of information
Have been hammered into our heads
Whether we are working
Or asleep in beds
Surprisingly we try
To keep these hammered thoughts in
Over the summer, some fall loose
And we have to stick them in again
What are they trying to do?
Making us worry about mark-loss
You'd think they are trying
To create utter chaos
