AB: Please read this! No matter what read it! It has a really important lesson I learned the hard way………please read!

"Oh man Winnie! I'll never get the courage to talk to him! And we leave really soon!" A girl murmured to her taller friend as she tugged at her braid.

"You really should talk to him Hal! He's been staring at you for three days straight!" Sitting on the edge of her bunk bed she looked down at Halley.

"Well what am I going to do? I'm a pure chicken shit!" They exited the cabin at Camp Olympia and walked up to where all the people were gathering. Halley searched for the guy. Sighing quietly she grabbed the piece of paper and shoved it into Winnie's hands.

"There he is Hal! Say something! He's getting on the bus!" Halley stood scared out of her mind tugging at her wristband nervously. They made eye contact, and as hard as she tried her legs wouldn't cooperate and move. He got on the bus, and through the tinned windows she couldn't see him well. Plopping herself down Halley sighed heavily.

"Don't worry Halley, we'll go back to school and there'll be someone there for you." Winnie said trying to console her friend. Halley dug through her backpack and pulled out her CD player and offered Winnie one of the headphones. A banging on the bus window caught her attention and she looked up to see him.

The bus pulled away. Smiling slightly to herself she waved at the disappearing bus.

Shoving the CD player into Winnie's hands she stood up.

"You ok Hal?"

"yeah I just need a walk."

"I'm coming to." Winnie stood up and trailed after Halley.

They stopped at the edge of the driveway that entered the camp.

"It's funny how one person can make you forget another………"

"You wanna see somethin' cool?" Halley nodded but lingered for a minute more.

'Maybe fate will bring us together again.'

"I didn't even know his name!" She muttered.

"You never know Hal, you just never know." Winnie muttered punching in numbers on the payphone.

"You just never know………'

Ain't it funny how some feelings you just can't deny
And you can't move on even though you try
Ain't it strange when you're feeling things you shouldn't feel
Oh I wish this could be real
Ain't it funny how a moment could just change your life
And you don't want to face what's wrong or right
Ain't it strange how fate can play a part
In the story of your heart

AB: All this really happened! I swear it! Names are changed for privacy reasons. And yes, I never knew his name and I regret everyday for not saying something to him. They say we don't feel love, than how do we feel heartbreak?
