Mother Nature's Lullaby--- by Ashley Brown
Silently standing, still as a statue
Observe the rain, falling endlessly
Call out in fear no more
The rain will cleanse the world of the horrors that haunt your dreams
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Nature's lullaby
Singing sweetly, soft yet so strong
No worries now
No worries as you drift into the sea of eternal bliss that is sleep
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Listen to her song
She will sing for now so sleep
Go into the sea of bliss
Go into the sea of bliss as she sings
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Rain drips softly, like waves upon the shore
Go quickly now
Mother nature sings to you,
Hear her lullaby
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Drip! Drip!
Drip!
A/N: Okay, so in 8th grade (2001) we were studying all the different word/poetry types.... this was my first poem I turned into my teacher. I kind of just found it.... Please review!
