Duties of Life or Love: Chapter Thirteen- Arival of the Seven Spirits

Warning: This is a story that has gay, yaoi, slash, or whatever you want to call it inside it. This means that there are two guys in here that like each other. If you don't like, don't read. I won't give much more warning beyond that. If you don't mind, then keep on reading.

"He he he! Are you afraid?" cackled a demon.

"Of what? You? You wish." said Shiken before striking yet again.

"Oh, it's not me that you have to worry over. They are coming." cackled the demon yet again.

"Who's coming? Who is "they"?" asked Shiken while raising an eyebrow.

"Good bye!"

"Hold it!"

Shiken was too late to pump the demon for anymore information. The demon jumped off the roof top and disapeared. Shiken growled. This had been the fourth time that some demon asked him if he was afraid. It all started a few days after he and Kyo had, well, done it. Each time they would mention "they". Just who were "they"? Shiken had no idea, but he had a desire to find out. Turning away from the roofside, Shiken ran off into the night, determined to find out what was going on.

Meanwhile, Kyo was in the shower, dreaming of doing more things to Shiken. Just as it was about to get good, Raijin barged into the bathroom.

"What the heck are you doing in here!" yelled Kyo. Obviously peeved seeing as Raijin had burst in on a particularly good moment.

"What the hell did you do Kyo!" shouted Raijin.

"What are you talking about, Rai?" said Kyo in annoyance as he started rinsing out his hair.

Raijin huffed up in anger. "Because you probably did something stupid, "they" are coming!"

Instantly, Kyo's eyes widened. "You don't mean..."

"Yes! Them you idiot!" yelled Raijin.

"Oh shit!" cursed Kyo as he started finishing in a hurry. "Do you think Shiken knows?"

Raijin sighed. "Probably not."

"Damn! I gotta go tell him." growled Kyo as he started drying himself.

"Might I sugest wearing something first?" said Raijin with a hint of amusement on his face at the fact that Kyo was preparing to go to Shiken's naked.

"Um, right!"

A few moments later Kyo ran out of his house, fully dressed, for about one yard before disapearing. A second later, he reapeared at Shiken's side.

"Kyo! What are you doing here?" hissed Shiken as he lay in bed.

"Look, I have to tell you something." said Kyo. "It's really important."

Shiken sighed. "Alright, but not here. Kalin's suspecious since she saw me limping a few days ago."

Kyo nodded and blushed. "I wasn't that hard on you, was I?"

"No..."

A minute later, Kyo and Shiken were out in the local park, siting next to each other, hand in hand.

"Okay Kyo, what is it that you wanted to tell me?" asked Shiken.

"Look, something's about to happen. I'm sure you've heard people or demons saying "they are coming" all the time or something like that, right?"

"Yeah, what's it mean?"

"Well you see it-"

"Look!"

Shiken pointed to seven dots in the sky. Each one was a different color. All seven advanced ever more as both stared in wonder at what the seven dots were. Soon, the seven dots looked as if they were coming right at them. When it looked like the seven dots, which had now become streaks of light, were about to hit, Kyo covered Shiken with his body to protect him. There was an explosion. Shiken gripped Kyo tightly to him and vice versa. When it was over, Kyo moved himself from over Shiken. They both looked. Although there had been an explosion, there was no crater. Instead, seven pillars of light stood where a crater should have. They were white, green, red, blue, yellow, silver, and gold. From them emerged seven beings. Kyo growled at them while Shiken stared at them in amazement, wondering what they were. As they came into the light, both noticed that seven boys had emerged from the pillars of light.

"Who are they?" asked Shiken softly.

"Our greatest dream and worst nightmare." growled Kyo.

The one that had come from the silver light pillar then began to speak. "The judgement will now begin."
