least.lol This is; I Can't Believe It's Not Liverwurst! It's going to be
funny and strange in different respects. Hehehehe this is one of my newest
stories! Yay! This entire story is from the viewpoint of the main character
Melpomene. @~
"WEEE! I'm flying! I swear I am! I'm an ostrich! WEEE! Look at me soar! I'm so high! This is fun! Hehehehe" I exclaimed at the top of my lungs. I felt like I could to anything! Until the after effect kicked in that is. I vomited, and curled up into myself. UGHHH now I just wanted to get home and sleep. Tomorrow I'm going to have one hell of a hang over. I looked around the party, too bad my friends left early. Now how am I going to get home? I can't drive, I don't have a car or a license. Before I realized what I was doing I tripped into some guy, a really hot guy. What the hell am I thinking! I'm a guy! I like girls! GIRLS!
The guy had caught me in his arms and was now looking me straight in the eyes; his eyes were a gorgeous silvery blue. He smiled at me, but not a fake smile or smirk, but a true and sincere smile.
"Hello," he said, his long black hair was pulled into a neat braid "how are you tonight?" he asked as if he didn't mind catching me.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" I stood on my own and apologized more, "I'm sorry did I hurt you?"
"Nah I'm fine, I just wasn't expecting an angel to fall from the heavens like that, let alone for me to catch him." He smiled again.
I blushed I- no one had ever commented me like that.and he was so beautif- NO! I can't be thinking like that. I-I'm not supposed to like guys! I felt even more light headed now, I started to fall backwards. He reached out and grabbed my arm, pulling me into him so I wouldn't fall back down the stairs.
"Your drunk aren't you sweetie?" he asked me.
I nodded slightly. I was now composed enough to know.
He sighed as he ran his fingers through my spiky brown hair, his embrace is so gentle and warm, I wanted to stay with in his arms forever. "Then I guess I'll have to wait for my angel, I don't want to take advantage of you," he smiled again, "what's your name sweetie?" he finished as he set me down on a couch and sat next to me.
"Melpomene Dionysus." I managed to say.
He laughed slightly, "Seems like the perfect name for you my dear, and it is a lovely name at that."
I looked at him questionably, "What do you mean?"
"Well, in Greek mythology Melpomene is the muse of tragedy, and Dionysus is the god of wine, so that would make you an alcoholic wouldn't it?" he smiled again, damn how did he know so much about Greek mythology? He was so cute. SNAP OUT OF IT MELPOMENE!
"Yeah, kinda." I shrugged "how did you know that?"
"My name is Eros Pyramus, I my names are also from Greek mythology. I guess that's what happens when you come from a long line of Greeks." He smiled once again, it never seemed to waver. No wonder he was so nice he was named after the Greek god of love! And his last name, Pyramus, he was like the Greek Romeo.
"Same here, my goals in life include settling down with a nice Greek girl and running the family business." I said as I leaned into him again. My head hurt really bad.
"I know the feeling, but I can't do the first one and my parents just have to deal with it. I think I'll settle down with a nice Greek fellow instead." He said wrapping his arms around me.
My face turned scarlet I felt safe with him like he would protect me, but what I need is protection from myself. Suddenly I jolted up and ran to the bathroom, I felt bad for leaving him like that but I think it would have been worse if I spewed on him. I puked at least five times into the toilet, before someone place a hand on my shoulder; Eros. I turned around to face him.
"You ok Melpomene?" he asked no longer smiling, this eyes gave off a concerned look.
"N-not really." I said honestly, at this point lying would get me no where.
"How are you getting home?"
"I-I, I don't know." I started to cry a bit I was scared that I would end up getting myself into a jam trying to get home.
Eros wiped my tears away, "I'll take you home if you'd like." He said.
"I'd really like that," I said managing a slight smile before I threw up in his lap.
