Thanks a million and a half Kristen for helping me with all the math on this! You've been helping me plan out Demon since the beginning, and I can't thank you enough for it.

Elizabeth continued walking through the mist, until she found herself floating underneath the city, and into David's main hallway. David was pacing quickly back and forth along the black marble floor as if waiting for something, and only paused once to look at a piece of paper hanging on the wall. His normally clean and orderly office was an utter disaster, and there were papers blowing across the room as though a hurricane was sweeping through. David continued to pace, not even noticing Elizabeth as she drew nearer to his desk.

"David? DAVID!" David seemed lost in his thoughts, and didn't seem to have taken any notice that Elizabeth was there. Elizabeth walked up to the wall and peered at the large creamy sheet of paper, and softly read it aloud.

"New recruit, Sarah Hoden, is expected to arrive in approximately five minutes. David Harlet is expected to greet her, and assign a Demon to welcome her. If by any chance she cannot be greeted, please inform The Earth Watchers immediately, and they will assign her to a job until further notice. Thank you and have a hellish day!"

"This is what you're so worked up about? A new Demon?" Elizabeth raised her eyebrows at David, and he finally stopped pacing long enough to look at her.

"She's not just any new Demon. This Sarah Hoden, is a girl I would have rathered not have to see for a few more years." David's eyes were glowing a neon yellow, and from Elizabeth's experience, when his eyes went yellow, trouble was coming. Why in the world would David be trying to avoid this Sarah girl? The creamy sheet of paper suddenly a brilliant white the color of snow.

"Approximately one minute until the arrival of Sarah Hoden." Elizabeth raised an eyebrow at the sheet of paper, and watched as David's eyes grew to a sun colored yellow. Though it was around eighty five degrees in the office, David was shivering.

"Grab a pole."

"What?" David glanced at her.

"Unless you want to end up flat on that ass of your's in a couple of seconds, I suggest you grab a pole." Elizabeth stepped over to the side of the room and wrapped her arms around a pole that had come jutting out of the wall, hugging it closer against her as the room began to shake. It continued to shake harder and harder as though the room was going to split in two at any second. Elizabeth closed her eyes and fully wrapped her arms and legs around the pole, hoping to Lucifer that she wouldn't fall off. A dull roar was echoing from somewhere outside the room, and Elizabeth was wishing for a pair of ear plugs.

"Hey David?" She was shouting over the roar, hoping that somehow David would be able to hear her.

"Yeah?" He's gone through this a million times and there's a tremor in his voice too...

"Was it this bad when I arrived?"

"Pretty damn close." Elizabeth could hear David's teeth starting to grind together, and wondered what he was holding onto to keep from falling on the floor. Suddenly silence filled the room.

"Damn, I'm glad that's over." Elizabeth opened her eyes, and started pulling herself away from the pole.

"Don't speak too soon." David looked in the direction of the middle of the room, as if waiting for something. What in the world is going to happen now? "Five...four...three...two...one..." As David finished counting, an enormous boom the size of something created by a bomb shook the room.

"What the hell was that?!"

"Watch." David looked expressionless into the middle of the room, where the dust was slowly clearing. On the floor was a woman who looked to be in her twenty's, and her arms were wrapped around her head. She was wearing a bright red tube top, a black mini skirt that barely covered what was underneath it, knee-high black leather boots, and make-up that was an utter disaster. Her lips were painted scarlet and her eyes looked as though she had just been punched. Elizabeth pulled herself away from the pole, and turned to look at David.

"Who's sorority slut barbie?"

"That..." David pointed a finger at the lump on the floor and wrinkled his nose. "Is Sarah Hoden."

Elizabeth could see Sarah starting to stir, and watched as she opened her eyes. The woman blinked a few times, and then looked at David as though he were an old friend.

"Daviekins!" David's expression went from blank to utter horror in a split second as Sarah got up the floor and ran up to him. David dived behind where Elizabeth was standing, trying to hide behind her. Elizabeth giggled when she saw the scared look on David's face, though she did her best to hide it, and turned to look at Sarah.

"Aw Daviekins don't you remember me?" David peeked over Elizabeth's shoulder to look at Sarah.

"Oh yeah..I remember you alright you sleezy ass bitch." Sarah's face scrunched up to resemble a pouting puppy, and she looked at him as though she were about to cry.

"Daviekins are you still sore about last time?"

"Sore?! Why would I be SORE Sarah? Because my exgirlfriend cheated on me with my best friend?! Oh no I'm not sore in the LEAST BIT!" Elizabeth turned around to face David.

"You mean you know this bitch?"

"Oh I knew her alright...We used to go to college together until my father called me down here to take over his job when he retired. Now HIDE ME!" Elizabeth laughed under her breath as David whipped her around and shoved her back in front of him.

"Uh David?"

"Yeah?"

"Aren't you suppose to give her the paper to sign so that she can become a demon? I remember you gave me one when I arrived."

"Do I have to?"

"You tell me, you're filling the spot of your father Lucifer after all." David grumbled and cautiously walked over to his desk, dragging Elizabeth along with him to block him from Sarah's view. He grabbed a sheet of creamy paper from inside the top drawer of his desk along with a pen, and handed it to Elizabeth.

"You give it to her, I don't want anything to do with her sorry ass." Elizabeth giggled. David Harlet freaking out over an ex girlfriend...now this is a new one.

"Alright Sarah, since David won't do it, please sign on the dotted line." Elizabeth held the sheet of paper and the pen out to Sarah, and watched her carefully sign it. The paper turned black for a second, and then a bright red, burning Sarah's fingers as it had Elizabeth's five years ago.

"Ouch!"

"That's what you get for sleeping with hundreds of guys. AIDs, and then getting burnt by a piece of paper." David stuck out his tongue at Sarah.

"Awe Daviekins it hasn't been hundreds, I'm only twenty-five."

"The hell you are! You were still a teen when you cheated on me, so don't you go telling me that you're only twenty-five." David quickly snatched the piece of paper from Sarah's hands, and stuck it in his pocket.

"Okay so I'm forty-two! You'd never know it by looking at me, because I'm still as beautiful as ever."

"Oh yeah, you look twenty-five after over 30 plastic surgery operations."

"Um..David? I don't mean to butt in to this very interesting and childish fight, but you still have to change how she looks." Elizabeth stepped out of the way so that she could see both David and Sarah. David's face grew into an evil grin, and he rubbed his hands together.

"David that look would put the Wicked Witch of the West to shame." Elizabeth was very curious about what David was planning to do next.

"Hey that witch is my sister!"

"Woops...sorry. I only just now recognized the family resemblance." Elizabeth giggled.

"Oh ha ha ha. Now how to change Sarah..." He grinned wider. "I've got it." A sudden gust of wind whipped Sarah around and around, until it finally dropped her to the floor. Her black and red slutty outfit was long gone, and replaced by something that proved just how much David really hated that girl. Sarah was dressed in a huge sweat shirt that said "Brittany Spears in twenty years.", and tie-dye hippie pants. Sarah looked down at what she was wearing.

"What have you done to me?!"

"Oh I'm not done yet." David pointed his finger at Sarah's hair, and Elizabeth watched as it started flashing the colors of the rainbow. "Ahh my eyes!" David chuckled and turned Sarah's hair back to it's usual blonde. Elizabeth shook her head.

"Well I'll leave you two alone..I need to get some sleep. Have fun with Sarah Daviekins." Elizabeth laughed under her breath.

"Don't you ever call me that again Elizabeth, or I'll ring that neck of your's!" Elizabeth turned and started walking down the hall, and stopped by the turn that led to her bedroom. David had ran from where he was standing previously, and was cowering under his desk trying to hide from Sarah. Elizabeth turned back around, and walked the short distance to her bedroom, and opened the polished black door.

"Finally I can get some sleep!" Elizabeth crawled under the black covers on her king size bed, and closed her eyes. An image of Stefan floated in the back of Elizabeth's eyelids, as she finally fell asleep.
