Sweaty palms
And flushing faces.
Stuttering words,
And quickening paces.
Mouth is dry,
Twiddling thumbs.
Skin is tingling,
Mind is numb.
Hard to breath,
Stomach churning.
Avoiding eyes,
Heart is yearning.
Every time that I glance,
Over your way,
All these things happen,
Every single day.
My hands are trembling,
As I try to guess,
If you are going to say no,
Or if you'll say yes.
