Epilogue: ONE YEAR LATER

The wedding bells sang and lions roared and the giraffes made whatever noise they make and with the final words said by the priest the bride leaned forward and kissed her groom. That's right, I said lions and giraffes. Now I know what you're thinking and it's not true. Macon and I are still together but we're no where near this step. Angie and Garret broke apart and smiled.

Yep, they finally tied the knot, here in Africa, and as for Devin, well Macon let him go after a good threatening, he's left us alone. We came here a month or so ago so that they could get married where Angelina and her husband, Dean, could watch the ceremony. The audience broke in applause.

Macon's father got life, Christy got 15 as with everyone else associated with the fat man, and Detective Serendy has kept his word and left us be. My mom's now in jail, which is good for her, I actually think she likes it, and I'm living with Macon in a small one bedroom apartment in Antonio. That's about it.

And so here I sit now, at the reception in my beautiful lavender dress, yes dress that was very elegant and plain. It just had spaghetti straps and came to my knees. I watched Angie and Garret start their first dance as husband and wife and tears almost came to my eyes when What Is Love came on. They dance horrifically it's been a while since I've seen someone do the monkey. Oh well, at least they're happy.

Macon came toward me in his white button up shirt and kaki slacks. He pulled a rose from behind his back and handed it to me. I shook my head and smiled.

"Stole it from one of the flower arrangements." He stated. I rolled my eyes heaven ward.

"Why me?" I muttered. I laughed when I saw Macon's pretended hurt face and his adorable pout.

"Dance with me?" He asked his hand out stretched toward me, his big blue eyes pleading. I smiled and set the rose down and accepted his hand.

"Always."

A/N: There it is. Completed and all! Well how was it? You have no idea how much fun this was for me to write, I loved it. Lol. Well please leave any comments you want and thanks for reading! Hope you had as much fun with it as I did.
