the safety pin
pricks my skin
the blood matches the color of fire
the colors are my only desire
the hazel of my eyes
give the sea a disquise
the pale color of my skin
gives the sea foam a line that's thin
my bracelets give thes sun
life, color, fun
my brown hair
is the color of a tropical mare
my blue pants
burst in colorful rants
all over the glorious sky
like fireworks that bust so high
the colors are wonderful
my imagination is pitiful
but the colors flood the canvas and the earth
they have since before my birth
and they will for all of time
