I Am
I'm a pebble among pebbles,
Yet a sapphire among sand.
I'm a wedding band,
Yet, I'm of silver,
Not of gold.
I am a shoe,
Not a floor.
A railing,
Not a door.
I am not the wind,
Nor the rain.
I am not the sun.
Nor a garden.
I am sometimes the beginning,
Sometimes the end.
I am rarely the factor,
Rarely the force.
I am often the walker
Of this course.
I am the sky,
And the sea.
Ever changing,
Wild and free.
I am me.

AN: See the metaphors? :) Don't understand? Sorry. I really don't want to elaborate. Poetry is made to get your brain going. You just gotta think about it.
