Bees in the Grass

It was cold that morning when she decided to wander into the schoolyard. She didn't often, most people made fun of her. She was the quiet one, the one most were secretly afraid of. So this morning, she brushed her raven hair from her pale golden eyes and scanned the yard. Teenagers sat around, everyone had puffs of white breath coming from their mouths. Like shrill ghosts twisting and turning up into the sky for some great escape.
Golden eyes blinked several times and then stared unblinkingly at a couple. They were sitting with a decent gap between them. His hand was rubbing the small of her back and she was smiling at him. They were in the middle of a group just chatting with friends. They were the good kids. She recognized each person and was able to place them in a group.
This couple was the kind that everyone thought was good. They didn't fool around. And if they did they would be safe about it. Everyone thought they had a bright future. She knew different. Artho whispered it into her ear as she watched them with unblinking eyes. Soon they began to realize she was watching them. With a pleasant smile the girl waved to her, motioning for her to come and sit with them.
She did so quietly, not sitting, but standing next to them gazing silently, unblinking at her stomach. As if she was looking to see inside it. The others in the group gave her a weird look and then went on talking. A girl with flaming red hair asked her, "So Anieya what're you doing today? Any plans for after school?"
She just turned her head and glanced at the redhead. Her golden eyes searching across her features. She's got plans to become an actress. Artho whispered softly in Anieya's ear. Only Anieya could hear Artho, and whatever he said was true. Artho was from another world. Anieya had pulled him into this one, he was her friend, and no one else could see Artho.
"She's probably gonna cast some kinda voodoo charm against us!" The boy, the male counterpart of the nice girl, joked snidely to the group. The nice girl that had called her over. Anieya silently drifted her eyes back to him and narrowed her them, listening to Artho.
"Be nice Eric!" His girlfriend, the nice girl, smacked him on the arm. It was truly a shame. She was so nice, always kind to Anieya. Bad things didn't need to happen to her. But they would. Anieya's eyes landed on her stomach again as she said, "Anieya's just a little eccentric, but she's not witch! She wouldn't do anything like that!"
"Witches don't cast Voodoo." Anieya stated blandly, correctly the girl softly. She liked her. The nice girl had long golden blond hair, and violet eyes. That was probably what had attracted Eric. Once again Anieya glanced at the blonde stomach and stated, "I'm sorry. You'll name her Chelsea.."
With this Anieya turned from the group and walked up the sidewalk toward the school walls. Her breath showing white beneath her nose. The raven hared girl let out a long sigh, she had just lost another "friend". Shaking her head she walked into the school and headed towards her lockers.

A.N. So what did you think? I know the title doesn't make much sense right now. But it will later on. It has to do with her dreams. And you'll meet more of her friends, like Artho is her friend. I really like this story. -^=^- I hope you do as well!
