Title: To Judge the Price of Life
Author: Heather P.

I have seen your face,
And judged you from afar,
Stepped inside your space,
And felt the desire for nothingness.

Your surface reflects my soul,
My face,
The pain,
My eyes,
The tears.

It lays bare before me,
I would reach forward,
To grab the instrument of your power,
Hold it to me,
To cease the plusing warmth,
Only to stop and shudder,
And look at my face and yours.

I have judged you from afar,
I have judged you from close.

I have seen your face,
I have seen your power.

I have placed it's point to my skin,
I have placed it's point to my life.

I have judged you from near and far,
And I have found you to be unworthy of this life.

I have stopped and set you from me,
I have left you in your space.

I have continued to live,
Facing the pain and loneliness of life,
Although I come back to judge you again,
I will always find you unworthy of this precious life.

This is my power.
