Title: White Clover Blossom
Author: Heather P.

My lucky clover died tonight,
It's green leafs wilting in my hands,
As the wind caught my hair in the light,
Ripping it from it's elastic bands.

Midnight blue was the indigo sky,
The day the clover died,
So I lay upon the earth to cry,
Closing my lips that had lied.

With little care I dropped my luck,
And it sank into waters wide,
Upon the dirty feather of a duck,
It floated across the tide.

If you find my wilted clover,
Do not bother where it lies,
For in my heart it shall bloom a white flower,
So I no longer have to hide.
