Passing Time

I feel the force as it passes me speedily,
Feels like it's eating at my life greedily,
A losing battle that cannot be won,
My nearing end has just begun,
Knowing what's ahead but still afraid,
Of rotten bones and a body decayed,
Passing so quickly I cannot fathom,
How years go by unable to hold them.
I wonder, I wonder, why are do we fear,
Life is so crazy and death is near,
It seems so long yet it is so fast,
Despite our tries we're never able to grasp,
The passing time that determines our age,
In the end we are left alone to gaze,
Time flies and now I can see,
That I was not meant to live for eternity.
Life will pass quickly, very quickly.
