Haven
Everything held dear,
Is forever gone.
War has begun,
Peace is no more.
Family against family,
Friends verses friends.
Groups being pulled,
As taunt as they can.

Stress adding to stress,
Tempers to tempers.
Fires burn in one's eyes,
As anger flares to life,
In another's saddening eyes.
Can they not get along?
Is this haven being destroyed?
It seems like they all,
Believe that they are right.
But, won't take the time,
To listen to each other.
Life here was once easy,
Now, it is hard.
Waking up and dreading the day,
For the problems,
That need to be handled.
Is this fight worth all,
That they had?
The carefree peace?
The blissful fun?
All that was worked for,
Is crumbling down.
They can no longer take it,
Binds they are breaking,
Allowing chains to pull,
Everyone to pain and tears,
It is at a breaking point.
Trust is demolished,
And hope it is failing.
Loners alone again!
Lines being drawn,
Just to be crossed.
Can they not return,
To their haven?
It no longer exists!
Now, all that remains,
Is one or two pillars,
Trying to hold it up.
They sway and bow,
Under the weight of it all.
They too are threatening,
To fall.
Everything held dear,
Is forever gone.
War has begun,
Peace is no more.
Family against family,
Friends verses friends.
Groups being pulled,
Apart!
Everything held dear,
Is forever gone.
