Bring on the Rain
Heavenly leaves rain down on me
As I walk along the sidewalk.
The wind picks up - carrying them -
pitter-pattering over and across the road
Golden sun kissed hues sparkle and dance
about - all but soon this foliage rain will end.
The crisp will of the North will rain slowly down, on me.
Light and airy snowflakes, glide and twirl - diamonds of Polaris
Together they come - creating a blanket of ice over the world.
Rapture
Rays of sunlight filtered through the trees,
Automnic foliage scattered
through the forest, above and below,
creating a blanket of multi-coloured verdure.
A light wind wraps around them,
sending them flying over the ground.
White Down,
A single snowflake falls,
followed by a boreal torrent
Multi-coloured becomes single-coloured
a white backdrop in a barren wood.
