Childhood Fantasies

Unicorns and flying trees,

Mythical things that once did please.

The imagination of a child,

Which runs so carefree and wild.

Gumdrops and sugar cane,

Lemon flavoured was the rain.

Rainbows and candy clouds,

All that is gone now.

It disappears as we're forced to mature,

Of our childhood fantasies we become unsure.
